How to Use Double Drivers
Double Drivers is a simple but powerful small portable (no installation required) tool that will help you to backup and restore drivers in Windows.
Drivers are programs that control devices in your computer — this is the way that Windows can talk and understand every device in your system –, whether it is a printer, sound, video, keyboard, etc.; every device has to have a driver.
How to use Double Driver to backup drivers
- Once you download and uncompressed the files, you can double-click dd.exe to launch Double Drivers — one cool thing about this tool is that it is portable and you don’t have to install anything, you can even store and run this tool from a USB drive for convenience –.
- Navigate to Backup and click Scan Current System, this will generate a list of all the drivers installed in your system.
- Select the drivers you would like to backup and click Backup now. Last just choose where to save the backup (preferable in network shared folder or in a USB drive), and also choose the output — the default is Ok –, and click OK to finishing backing up the device drivers.
